Throwback: SAIL Amsterdam 2025

Last Wednesday, a team of 36 employees from both Fender Innovations and PolyMarine Fender Systems took part in the SAIL-In Parade of Sail Amsterdam 2025. We were guests on three KNRM ships, where a fantastic team of volunteers took us along on this amazing maritime celebration.

A well-filled coach carrying the teams from Fender Innovations and PolyMarine Fender Systems left Wieringerwerf early in the morning to be on time for boarding at 9:30 a.m. We were warmly welcomed on three KNRM ships that are well known to us: the Prins Hendrik, the Johanna Louisa, and the Insulinde.

A great team of KNRM volunteers took us through the endless parade, what a party! It was organized chaos on the water. Along the way, in addition to all the fun, we were treated to superb catering provided by the KNRM.

At 4 p.m., we moored at the Sumatrakade, where the ‘big blue brigade’ left in convoy back to our coach. We ended the evening together with a delicious dinner at the Babylon restaurant in Heerhugowaard.

It was a day to remember. Exhausted but satisfied. What an atmosphere, what a wonderful industry, and what a great team we have.
